Cookie Policy | gameforplayers.com A-League Fantasy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device when you visit. They help a site remember who you are, how you like to use it and what you have done before.

2. Why we use cookies

We only use strictly necessary cookies and local storage so the website works. We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

These are limited to remembering that you have seen this notice. The site needs them to stop the notice repeating on every page.

4. What we do not use

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, remarketing pixels or social-media trackers. There is nothing optional to accept or reject.

5. Squad Builder storage

Your starting eleven and match results are saved in your browser’s local storage so they stay on this device. That data is not sent to our servers.

6. Embedded map

The contact page includes an OpenStreetMap embed. Opening that page may let OpenStreetMap set its own cookies, which are covered by its privacy policy.

7. Third-party cookies

Apart from the contact-page map, we do not embed third-party content that sets cookies for advertising or analytics.

8. Local storage

We also use your browser’s local storage to keep your cookie choice (“cookie_consent”), your saved starting eleven (“sport_squad_v2”) and your saved match results (“sport_results”). These entries stay on your device until you clear your browser data.

9. How long cookies last

Session cookies disappear when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device for a set period, usually between a few days and twelve months, unless you delete them sooner.

10. Your choices on our site

When you first visit, we show a notice explaining that we only use necessary cookies. Press OK to hide it. Because we do not run optional trackers, there is no separate “reject analytics” control.

11. Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies in their settings. Please note that blocking all cookies may stop some parts of the website from working as expected.

12. Do Not Track signals

Browsers differ in how they send Do Not Track signals and there is no common standard. We aim to respect your browser settings where we reasonably can.

13. Updates to this policy

We may change this Cookie Policy when we add new features or when the law changes. The latest version will always be available on this page, along with the date it was last updated.

14. Contact us

If you have a question about cookies or how we handle your data, email [email protected] and a member of the team will help.
